“How do I organize my thoughts so that I can communicate more effectively and persuasively?”

Good communicators are able to organize their ideas, speak concisely and connect with their audience.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a structured approach and techniques for organizing and presenting your ideas.

  • Avoid five common mistakes of communication
  • Learn the six-directions approach to communicate more effectively

2. Plan Your Communication So That People Will Listen
  • Apply an effective technique to organize your thoughts succinctly
  • Position your message to attract your audience’s attention

3. Build Rapport And Get Buy-In
  • Use NLP techniques to build rapport and move your agenda forward
  • Learn practical tips to project confidence and build trust when you speak

4. Understand The Power Of Listening And Audience Centric Approach
  • Practise active communication using ACES
  • Adopt audience centric approach by asking insightful questions

5. Use Images To Create Memorable Conversation
  • Adopt figurative language to increase impact of your communication
  • Use verbal bridges to lead the conversation to your goal

6. Redirect Tough Conversation Professionally
  • Apply techniques to tactfully redirect a tough conversation
  • Discover ways to turn disagreement into a constructive conversation

Thong Joo holds certification in Master of Science (Industrial/Organizational Psychology & HR Management) by City University of New York; Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE); Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA); Certificate of Business Chinese; Certified Practitioner Of Neuro-Linguisitic Programming® (NLP); Certification as a Human Behavior Analyst (DISC Profiling); Silva Method; and Business Coaching.

He specializes in providing training in the area of sales; managerial and leadership skills; applied psychology; presentation skills; creative problem solving and service excellence. He has conducted numerous training in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand and China.
